Simon Dumbleton is CTO Europe at World Wide Technology, leading the European systems engineering organisation. An engineer by background with several patents filed, Simon established the Telco Cloud team at Telefónica UK (now VMO2), where he first met WWT as a customer. He then led technology at Capgemini, pioneering 5G network slicing, public safety networks and AI inference on low-power edge devices. One of his current focus areas is the pragmatic sovereignty of AI and how to secure technology in the age of AI and Quantum.
